Donation Centre for Displaced Ukrainians

With the large wave of recent arrivals, a wait list for specific items has been growing. Your help would be greatly appreciated, as we are in need of the following donations listed below:
For drop-off Sundays between 1 pm and 3 pm at 1660 Park Street: (middle loading bay door)
Excellent condition furniture (no rips or stains) and like-new or new bedding and smaller-sized men’s clothing (medium and small) at the warehouse location. (Details below)
For drop off Sundays between 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at 3303 Grant Road: Housewares, cleaning supplies, toys, and new toiletries. (Details below)
Requesting for Park Street:
– Excellent condition furniture – Kitchen or dining tables and chairs, desks and office chairs, loveseats, sofas, nightstands, dressers (with working drawers), chairs, futons.
– New or like-new beds/air mattresses or gift cards for places like Sleep Country.
– Excellent condition boxsprings and bedframes
– working microwaves and vacuums
– working bikes
– Newer TV’s (flatscreens, not tube TV’s, as those, won’t work with their available technology)
– Booster car seats for toddlers
– Strollers
Requesting for Grant Road:
– Excellent condition pots, sauce pans, and frying pans
– Laundry detergent
– Working power bars, HDMI cables
– Working hair dryers
– Excellent condition mixing bowls and cereal bowls
– Clean Mops and buckets
– Working irons
– Excellent condition kettles
– Excellent condition laundry baskets
– New toiletries / sanitary supplies / cleaning supplies
– New toasters
– Working Pressure cooker, blenders, mixers
– New or excellent condition backpacks
– Good condition smaller tools like screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, scissors, etc.
– Kitchen tools like can openers, soup ladles, garlic mincers, and peelers
– New cutting boards
– Sets of cutlery and knives
– Working gaming systems
– Gift cards to Superstore, Walmart, or other stores
For now, full of the following:
No clothing (except men’s size small and medium)
No stuffed animals
No water bottles
No Christmas decorations
No Tupperware
No stuffed animals
No hide-a-beds
No books
No mugs
No electric fry pans
No crock pots
No chipped dishes
No novelties
No knick-knacks
No cassette or VHS tapes
No frames
No baby seats
