New rules and limits for humanitarian aid – effective March 7

Meest is extremely grateful for your support of humanitarian aid efforts for Ukraine. We have received an overwhelming response and, due to the changing needs and circumstances in Ukraine, will need to put some limits around free shipping and the items sent.

For individuals

As of March 7th, FREE SHIPPING* will only apply to 2 boxes per person per day. Boxes should only include Meds, Military gear, Shelter/Protective gear. Please check the list of the goods Ukraine needs: https://ca.meest.com/humanitarian-aid-packages-for-ukraine-ca?fbclid=IwAR2HboqWTq9iVVMXoSef6vFJQzudCNbkgQ9W2NBAr3BmyzWEMuM5ocZgCoA

*FREE SHIPPING only applies only to shipments from Toronto to Ukraine. Shipping from anywhere in Canada to Toronto is CAD 2.00 per kg.

We will not accept any goods except Meds, Military gear, Shelter/Protective gear.

Meest will be donating these items to organizations we work with in Ukraine: Caritas Ukraine, BackAndAlive and Lviv Samooborona.

For organizations and larger donations

We can accept larger donations (more than 2 boxes a day) with no category/item limits. These shipments will be subject to a shipping charge of CAD 5.00 per kg.

For organizations that would like their larger donations to be distributed to their own accredited charity in Ukraine, we will need the name and address of the charity.

Additional Requirements for all packages:

  • Maximum weight of the package 30kg
  • Multiple shipments going out every week by AIR
  • Estimated delivery time from Toronto to Ukraine – 5-7days
  • Package each box by item category and provide their full description

Free Shipping to Ukraine was made possible by our partner BCU Foundation. BCU Foundation is a charitable organization that supports Ukrainian community-based cultural, historical, and educational endeavours in Canada. Please donate at https://bcufoundation.com/donate-today/

Please don’t send any prohibited items. Check the list of prohibited items here: https://ca.meest.com/services/service/delivery-to-ukraine
