Queen Elizabeth became Queen in 1952, at the age of 25. She led the country and the Commonwealth
for 70 years. She was a constant presence in our lives – and her service to Canadians will forever remain
an important part of our country’s history. 

Ukrainians thank Her Majesty, for supporting Ukraine in the war with Russia.
Great Britain is one of Ukraine's biggest allies. In March, she made a generous donation to the DEC Ukraine
Humanitarian Appeal. Ukraine was also supported by the royal family: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, 
Prince William and Kate Middleton, and Prince Charles, who will become the next king of Great Britain.
